I think the glitchy sparkles are from when I upload it on Photobucket... the image is higher quality when its a .gif on my computer, but online it gets messed up :(

@The_mad_one: Ah I think I understand it now. The greatest problem might be the gradient background? I'll try tweaking it and see what happens. Thanks for the info.

Edit: OK I changed it to 50? colors, lower quality but at least no sparkling. I probably won't be animating entire frames anymore if it ends up like this.

It happens when gif images with more than 256 different colours are placed on the internet:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graphics_Interchange_Format#Palettes

The only way to avoid it is by reducing (or preferrably, keeping,) the amount of colours to 256 or lower before you upload, or it will be done for you, but random enough to cause stationary stuff to be different on different frames.
